In 1994,when we toured South Africa for six weeks,flugelhornist Feya Faku and saxophonist Zim Ngqawana were featured as our special guests at the Arts Alive Festival and the Guinness Jazz Festival in Johannesburg.We met several other african musicians and that resulted in an invitation for Feya Faku,Louis Mhlanga and Sidney Mnisi to hook up with the band for a tour in the Netherlands in 1998.This co-operation was so succesfull that we planned a second tour from august untill october 1999.Most of the repertoire we played during that tour is recorded on this album.
